Our story

Our founder
BeSpace is a creativity studio founded by Brooke Desir — an educator, community builder and maker devoted to reimagining how children and families learn, play and create together.
At its heart, BeSpace is about permission — permission to slow down, to explore, to create, to wonder and to dream. Brooke believes creativity isn’t a subject; it’s a way of being.
Because when we make space — for imagination, for each other, for possibility — we make room to be.
Who we partner with
Early childhood centers and classrooms
Educational centers and museums
Community organizations and non-profits
Family and private group workshops
We design and facilitate art workshops in creativity for infants, toddlers, young children and families. Process-based learning encourages self-expression, self-confidence, creative problem-solving and a growth mindset.
Workshops and consulting services for educators and administrators, equipping them with tools to foster creativity in their classrooms and learning environments.
Custom curriculum plans integrating process-based learning and Reggio Emilia–inspired approaches, built around the programming you already run.
Specialized programming and creative events developed with schools, educational centers, community organizations and families.
Our approach
BeSpace is committed to fostering creativity and lifelong learning through process-based exploration, art making and play. Children are trusted as capable, curious people — the materials are open-ended, and the outcome belongs to the child.
For educators
Workshops and consulting services for educators and administrators, equipping them with tools to foster creativity in their classrooms and learning environments.
How it works
Ages, group size, your space and what you are hoping the children take away from it.
A workshop, series or event shaped around your setting — materials, provocations and timings included.
We run it with you, and leave your team with the tools to keep the practice going.
